The answer is because I don’t want to do this constant migration from platform to platform. I’m done with updating facebook, twitter, instagram, threads, linkedIn, tik tok, [insert other major social media site], or any of the like.
I figure i’ll have a website forever, and I’ll be officially done with moving all of my interests over and over. as of now, i’m uploading videos to youtube and my “tweets” to bluesky.
My “journal” will hold me accountalbe to update every once-in-a-while. I’ll avoid putting a hard and fast frequency on here because… well ya-just-never-really-know.
In my eyes, the purest form of social media is sharing things you find interesting… if only that interest wasn’t being farmed to benefit the ultra-zillionaires of the world.
So, enjoy my website on your own time and know that you shouldn’t feel bad for endulging in your shared hobbies!
